I have a B.A. and M.A. in Art /
Education with a concentration in Painting and Photography, which I earned from
Brooklyn College. I discovered my passion for art during my childhood, and
involved myself with painting, drawing and other crafts at an early age. I
pursued a career as an Elementary School Art teacher and taught in Brooklyn and
Staten Island Public Schools for thirty years. In addition to teaching art
classes, I instructed in the Studio in the Schools program for students and the
Guided Reading through Art program for School Staff. I also created all of the
scenery for musical productions, and painted murals for the display at one of my
schools.
Following my retirement, I returned
to my true passion of creating inspired paintings, many of which are featured on
this website.
Additionally, I am currently
teaching an Acrylic Painting class at the United Federation of Teachers in
Manalapan, NJ. I also recently created an Art program for residents of the
Renaissance at Cranbury Crossing, NJ where I instructed Painting.
I am the recipient of the Edith Potter Achievement Award for service.

Painting is a passion for
communicating your emotions and thoughts. I communicate my inner self by
painting landscapes, seascapes, people, animals, interesting architecture and
fantasy. The paintings in my collections reflect my imaginative and
experiential view of photographs that I've taken. I aim to tell a story of my
mind through my artwork by altering reality to create a whimsical world.
